X-tra Art Time (Michelangelo Art Activity)
We learned a little bit about the famous renaissance artist Michelangelo and then we "painted" like he would have painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Students created masterpieces of their own, with markers, under their desks to create an easy to reach "ceiling". Great art and lots of giggles!

Planetarium Show
The Brockton Public Library brought their traveling planetarium to our school today so we could experience a show about our current science topic - weather!
Free Books
Due to a very generous donation, every student at our school received free book to keep them reading over the summer! All of the third graders received a copy of Kristen Bell's The World Needs More Purple Schools.
Fun fact: if you take the book jacket off and turn it inside out, it becomes a poster!
