Mad Lib: Parts of Speech Practice
We are practicing distinguishing between parts of speech, so there is no better way to practice than a good old fashion Mad Lib! Today partners worked together to fill in various parts of speech with silly words. Then they were given the fill in the blank story to complete with their words. Students shared their silly tales for a very giggly story time this afternoon!
Measurement Review
As math MCAS gets closer (end of April), we will be inserting all sorts of review activities to practice skills we've learned throughout the year. Today, we recorded the lengths of various objects on task cards spread throughout the room and we completed a cut and paste activity that had a sort situations by liquid volume (liters and milliliters). We will continue to review previously taught topics as we prepare for the MCAS test.
